Result of Website desighning competetion

Following Email is sent to us by  Program  coordinator Ms Janet

Dear Team,

Congratulations! After the final round of judging, your website has been selected as the Grand Prize Winner in the secondary school category! Each school will be presented with a plaque and $500 check by mail for their hard work.

This team’s collaboration is an example of how the program should be run.  The energy of the team was apparent.  It was a pleasure to work with all of you and your students are privileged to have you as teachers.  The example and the experience you have provided with them is truly a life lesson.

Once again, thank you for your desire to immerse your students in a collaborative environment. Your students, schools and communities have all benefitted.

I have included at the end of the message,  comments from the judges so you and your students have the benefit of their feedback.

I look forward to working with you all again next year.

Thank you,
Janet

I think you’ve covered some really important issues here but you’ve mostly focused on them from one perspective in most cases. I’d have loved to see more opinions and thoughts from Delhi Public School and Salakhaov’s Gymnasia.

These are very real issues facing the students. Good analysis and solutions/

The Within Withheld section on the home page with links to all of your content is AMAZING. Creative and much more effective than the menus. Love the Colophon (although the site was pretty easy to use). I thought the design was soothing and clean and beautiful. As I was navigating, I did find it a bit hard to move through each section – maybe submenus could stay open? (oh, and please grow up to be a writer Vivek Sharma).

Great topic with a lot of information. The poetry and artwork throughout the site are wonderful. Topic is handled thoughtfully and well done.

Very interesting theme with a lot of substance.

Very interesting topic, and an eye-opener to realize the similarities and differences in teenage issues. Great documentation of communication. One school did not have their Helping Hands Documentation. Very well organized.
